Creating a Job in MyPeople from Vincere

Modified on Mon, 20 May at 2:41 PM

Once the integration between Vincere and MyPeople Recruit has been enabled, and you have authenticated your account with the two systems, you are able to create a job in MyPeople from the Job record in Vincere.

Getting started

Navigate to the Jobs page from the Jobs option in the left-hand menu:

Once you've found the job that you wish to add to MyPeople Recruit, select the job and navigate to the Integrations tab in the job's menu.

In the MyPeople Integration's tab you'll be given the option to add the job in MyPeople Recruit:

Configuring the job details

The job name, company and closing date will be populated automatically using the details configured for the job in Vincere.

You will however need to select the role that the job is for from the MyPeople catalogue of 37,000 roles. This is to allow the candidate’s personality profile from the assessment to be compared against the demands of that particular role.

If there is no exact match for the role that you are looking for, you can use a similar role that has similar demands, or if there is nothing similar you can email support@mypeopleinsight.com to request that the role is added to the catalogue..

Configuring the hiring manager

The next stage is to configure the hiring manager for the job vacancy. This is so that a Workplace Culture questionnaire can be sent to the hiring manager to get their perspectives of the culture of the hiring team. The candidate’s responses to the Cultural Preferences section of their assessment are then compared to these scores to assess cultural alignment.

The site manager configured for the job vacancy in Vincere (where possible) is populated automatically as the hiring manager. You can however choose to specify that someone else is in fact the hiring manager for the job. Please note, that doing this will not update the site manager in Vincere.

You are also able to specify a ‘delegate’ for the Workplace Culture questionnaire. This means that the specified hiring manager will still be added as such to MyPeople Recruit, but that the questionnaire will be sent to a delegated individual instead of the manager.

Finally in this section, you’re able to choose to send the Workplace Culture question to the hiring manager (or delegate) immediately, or you can schedule it in to be sent later.

It is possible to skip this section to return to at a later date, but it is worth noting that until a hiring manager or delegate has completed the Workplace Culture questionnaire, the Culture Fit assessment of any candidate is not possible.

Configuring the candidates

The candidates that have already been shortlisted for the job in Vincere will be available for selection here. Simply select the candidates that you want to assess in MyPeople Recruit, and configure when you want the assessment to be sent.

It is possible to skip this section and add candidates at a later date. When new candidates are shortlisted in Vincere after a job has already been created in MyPeople Recruit, you will still have the ability to add them to the job in MyPeople for assessment.

Configuring the email notifications

The configured hiring manager and candidates will be invited to complete their part of the process via email. There are default email templates for all jobs which can be configured within MyPeople Recruit, but you can also configure the email notifications for this specific job as part of this setup process. Simply select whether it is the candidate or manager email you wish to configure, and you can enter the From address, the email Subject, and the email message body.

Job Summary

You will then be presented with a summary page, outlining of the details that have been configured to be sent to MyPeople Recruit. Once you’re ready to go, just choose to Create the job in MyPeople Recruit.

Success!

The job has been added to MyPeople Recruit, and the candidate assessments and hiring manager questionnaire will be sent in accordance with the job’s configuration. You will then receive an email notification each time a respondent completes, or you can monitor their progress either from Vincere or the MyPeople Recruit job page.

You can also now link directly from Vincere to the job’s page in MyPeople Recruit, which allows you to manage the job and report on the candidates.
